I have been known to write a bit. I am also a teacher and philosopher. My areas of speciality are metaphysics and philosophy of mind. I also have interests in feminist philosophy and philosophy of science.

I did my PhD at the University of Leeds under the supervision of Helen Steward. My PhD research concerned the metaphysics of action, and the problem of mental causation: how our mental lives can causally influence physical events. Before my PhD, I did an MPhilStud at King's College London and I did my BA at the University of Oxford in philosophy and psychology.
